Volunteer
The summer of 2024 has brought about a reorganisation of the annual Festival
Arising from the re-organisation, several volunteer roles have emerged and we invite you to join the core coordinating group in creating the annual Festival in March 2025.
A bit about us and what to expect:
The Oxford International Women’s Festival each year brings together women from different communities across Oxford. It offers an exciting and informative programme of events that aims to celebrate women’s achievements, while taking an honest look at the obstacles women and girls face in the current day, particularly championing work happening locally in Oxford.
The committee tries to meet once a month where we discuss and feedback on our areas of focus. This is usually in person in Oxford Town Hall, but if you can’t make a meeting you can either join virtually or receive the minutes after the meeting, which is sent round by the festival lead, Debbie.
There are many benefits to enjoy as a volunteer
- Be part of the network of women’s groups across that operate across the City.
- Enjoy the comradeship of working as part of a multi ethnic team of community
- Learn more about women’s issues world wide.
- Support women in having their voices heard.
