The 8th Film + Q&A

The 8th +Q&A

The story of Irish women and their fight to overturn one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the world. An urgent narrative, a cautionary tale, and a roadmap for progressive reforms in a modern era where authoritarianism is on the rise, this rousing documentary shows how a country forged a new progressive path when reproductive rights are threatened all over the world.

This one-off screening will be followed by a short Q&A, organised by the Oxford International Women’s Festival.
